Despite forcast of rain, was a clear day.. mad it over Beattock hill fine, had to kill a rabbit with miximatosis though. Approaching Glasgow was good, seeing the Campsie fells and kilpatrtick hills made the last 15 miles easy. Stayed at flat over the night, got to check emails for free instead of 12 minutes for 1UKP. Early start was ok, ate at youth hostel. The old A74 (B7076 and B7061) is great for cycling with the quite roads.. even cycled on near deserted dual carriageway for a lot of it.

A82 out of Glasgow.. day started off misty.. called in at a bike shop and got new cleats for the shoes, fitted them, and headed to Crianlarich. Relatively short day of only 50 miles.. next day is 50 miles too. Wet weather for most of the day.. glad to get to the youth hostel and get a chance to dry the clothes.
