My trip to NE USA will take my from NYC to Buffalo via Rochester NY, Buffalo to Chicago IL, then Cleveland OH, before coming back through Niagara Falls, and Toronto.

I woke up with quite a hangover. Slowly emerging in to the day, spong got up quite late also. I had planned to do a laundry at the start of the day but being a bit confused I didn't succeed in this.
I went to Mossback and had a 'Western burger' for breakfast (it was by now after lunch time), and then went over to rent a bike.
I managed to get out to Perry's monument, which was erected to commemorate the 1812 war on lake Erie.
I made it back to the house, and got the laundry items sorted out, and caught up with writing my post cards. I might even manage to send them tomorrow! spong's brother was around, as he is part of the band that was playing for the day.
I managed to make it around a few places on the bike around town and established where the post office was. I have decided that I will do some kayaking tomorrow, I've not been in a canoe for years!
Once my clothes were done, I cycled a short loop on the North (west) part of the island and gave the bike back, before heading to Tippers for a steak dinner.
At Tippers, I learned the hard way that I had to collect my own salad and soup. They were quite busy so the waitress didn't have time to explain all the technicalities to me. The steak was delicious, and disappeared quickly after it had arrived
I came back to the house again, and started searching for my transport to Toronto which is still not finalised. I took a bit of time out at the Round House Bar to check out the band, but felt so tired that I came back to crash out.
