I slept in today, and enjoyed a lazy morning getting breakfast at the hotel before getting ready to head off for the second day on the road.
By now I was feeling more confident on the bike, and looking forwards to the ride, as I was no longer in any commercial parts of Ho Chi Minh city, so it was all going to be countryside and views!
I left at 1035, and after an hour or so I felt quite hungry again so found a roadside place and ordered some Pho, after checking with Phuong by messenger about what all the different options were in the menu. He helped out by sending me a link to 'on the road food in Vietnam'!
