I had a lazy morning, and then headed back out to the temples on the bicycle again.
As I didn't need to go to the ticket office, and knew my way, I made good time to the main temple, and headed straight for the last parts on the higher levels.
There was some kind of huge gathering happening, with hundreds of people all dressed in uniforms.
As I was descending the steps fro mthe top level, which were very steep, there were some Japanese tourists behind me. The way was not clear for me to go, so I hung back a bit, and the girls behind me seemed very nervous by the height and steepness of the steps.
Once there was enough of a gap, I made my way down the steps, and overheard one say to the other "sugoi supiido!", remarking about how fast I was going down the steps!
I made my way back to the bicycle, and headed to Ankhor Tom,the next temple to Ankhor Wat.
This was another large temple complex, and ok a long time to navigate my way around.
At the entrance way, the darkness of the stupa/tower allowed for a large colony of bats to be roosting, and they were making quite a noise chattering with each other.
After I finished this, I made my way back to the bridge, and was rewarded with spectacular sky colours for the sunset, pinks and magentas being reflected on the water
As I ot back to the bike, a tuktuk driver suggested I take a ride with him, and I pointed to the bike, but he was undeterred, suggesting that I put my bicycle on the tuktuk! I declined anyway.
I managed to persuade two of them to come with me on a tuktuk for the following day to head to the waterfall area to the north and also visit the Temple of the Ladies.
