I decided to go to some of the temples that I had missed out on the previous cruise, so made my way by sky train to the port, and got an all day ticket.
The first stop was Wat Arun, with its towering white pagodas. I decided to take the ferry boat from here to the seeping Buddha temple, and enjoyed going through the temple.
This place allowed you to buy a bowl full of cheap coins so that you could walk alongside the Buddha donating in all of the prayer points.
The architecture of the place was described in a museum area, and the gardens and temple areas were enjoyable to stroll through.
After this I went back to Wat Arun and went around it, before getting back on the tour boat to go further upstream.
I went all the way up to the tourist district, with a view to finding the point where I had to get the bus to Cambodia from.
It was a bit of a maze, and the street was full of tourists drinking too much and tuk tuk drivers determined to get a fair somewhere!
After spotting the location, it was getting to be late, so I made my way back to the pier and got on the last boat back to the sky train.
Back to the hostel after this, and then onwards to an Italian place I had been recommended, for some tasty pasta for dinner!
