I left the hostel after some breakfast, and made my way to the airport, using the local transport and card.
Since the touch and go card system here also allows purchases, I was able to completely empty it by buying some snacks at the airport, before heading to check in.
This was unusually complicated this time around - as I had not booked my onward ticket to Thailand yet, konwing I would get a 3 month waiver on arrival in Malaysia, the airline decided that I could not board or check in until I had signed a waiver that releived them of the responsibility of paying for carriage out of Malaysia in the event that I was refused entry.
After this, I thought I was done, but I got called over again as they deccided that my mosquito spray in my bags was not flight safe. Is this the same airline that I've flown so far all over Asia?
They confiscated the cans with flammable, and let me keep the orange scented Off! ones --- which I prefer anyway, since it doesn't stink!
Finally I was able to make my way through security and immigration checks and then relax at the gate.
At this point, having signed the waiver form, I became a bit paranoid about being allowed in, and so booked my onward flight to Phuket.
I took a bus from the KLIA airport once I arrived, and just made my way to Chinatown, where I tried to check in to Suzie's but they were full, so I checked in at Raizzies instead just down the street.
