Today I endeavoured to go to Monkey Hill, which was past the beach I had been to previously.
I found the way to be extremely tiring, either the brakes were stuck on, or I was incredibly unfit, or the bike was far too heavy - either way, I took the wrong route and ended up having to stop due to a military blockade!
I made my way back down the hill, and instead went to Martyr's Shrine, for the views of the city.
From there I could also see the nice docklands scenic area, and in the smoggy haze could also get photos of the tower, which was to be my next destination.
After navigating my way to the tower, which seemed to take longer than I had anicipated, I had to ask around to find the elevetor to the top.
From there I paid the entrance and was pleased to note that again it wasn't a timed tour so I could enjoy the views and take my time.
The sunset was average and I got some nice photos of the city as darkness fell, then headed back to the hostel in the dark.
