The laundry here is that you wash it yourself in the machine and hang it out to dry in the back!
With that in mind, I did my laundry, and then headed on to the Geopark in the far north of Taiwan.
I headed to the bus station, and hopped o nthe bus, getting to the park itself for around 3pm .. This turned out to be a good time, since it meant I could enjoy the park and then make my way back during sunset for some nice views!
I suspect another hour might have been ideal though as I did feel a bit rushed before getting to "The Queen's Head", a famous rock formation for looking like the head of the queen on the UK stamps.
To take photos here required being in a queue, which was well regulated, including having someone near the ideal spot to ensure that people didn't skip their turn! I guess too many tourists got annoyed in the past?
On my way back to the park entrance, I decided to go to another spot, the Princess of love, though to be honest it wasn't clear which of the odd formations was the Princess!
Before I left the park, I stopped off at the nearby market for some squid balls, and then made my way to the bus and headed back to Ximen and the hostel.
