I met up with Gina and Bo in the hostel, and we decided to head to Chiang Kai Shek together and make plans from there.
On the, we stopped by a local cafe place to grab pork soup dumpling balls, and placed the order using chinese numerals.
We wandered around CKS and managed to witness the changing of the guard, and then Bo and I stayed on at CKS while Gina headed to meet a friend.
Bo and I managed to see a big scale version of the changing of the guards after that at CKS, and then headed to the park and enjoyed a beer while watching the cranes at the pond.
At the park, we met some older locals playing catch and had a chat with them about here we were from.
We headed onwards to elephant hill, which we managed to climb in time for sunset and get some good photos.
After the sun set, it started to rain, so we packed up the cameras and headed back to the hostel.
After sorting ourselves out, we went to eat at night market undercover, enjoying a good sized meal for a reasonable price, including some taiwan beer.
