Another early start, as we needed to be at Sibulan termihnal for 4am for the early ferry.
Wakeup was 2.30am, then we got ready and then left the hotel at 3.35.
The port was only 10 minutes down the road, and since it was so early there was hardly any traffic, and thn we boarded the boat at 4.20am.
The boat left at 4.37, and was at Liloan within 30 minutes, where upon we headed straight on to Cebu city.
The drive up the east coast of Cebu island reminded me a lot of the Great Ocean Road on the south coast of Australia, probably in part due to the fact it was a coastal road with the ocean on the right ;-)
We arrived in Cebu at 8am, and then headed to Fili's house after dropping Ross's wife off at customs to complete the paperwork - the whole point of this trip was to release some boat engines that had been shipped from China.
We had some snacks, and after showing them to Raine via IM I was asked to get ahold of some Otap, apparently a speciality from Cebu.
We headed on to the hotel after this, but it was too early to check in, so we wandered to the mall, and had some Lechon Baboy for brunch - always delicious, I think I love Lechon!
I managed to buy some of the Otap for raine, and got some for myself too - they are like crispy rolled pastries - very swet and very delicious!
I had a snooze at the hotel after that while Ross headed to customs, and then I headed to join them here they picked up the motors and we headed back to the hotel.
Sleep ensued!
