When I said early start I meant it - my alarm was set for 2.45!
The alarm did go off but I cancelled it and then suddenly it was 3.30am and there was a knock at the door to wake me up. Ooops!
We left at 4.10, with Imelda, and Fili (who I met the previous day), sitting on the back of the truck and Ross and myself in the front. It started to really rain hard at 4.40am, making Ross and I feel bad for the girls but he assured me that they were Filipino and so used to it!
We reached Dumagete for 8.30 am, at Jerry's tune up, so that the engine of the truck could be re-stamped, ready for its inspection and registration.
We took a taxi to the hotel, where we dropped our bags, and then headed in to town to do some shopping.
We had to wait for the shops to open, and then had breakfast at Mang Inisal, a delicious chicken place - I had proper Sisig as I hadn't had any yet, though it wasn't actually what's normally eaten there.
Raine was mad at me for going there before she had taken me in Iloilo, but I guess since I had Sisig that I can be forgiven?
