I woke at aound 6am, and ignored the guy doing the breakfast rounds.
We arrived at the Iloilo port, where the boat stayed for around 3 hours.
We left late, so I texted ahead to Ross to let him know I would be arriving in Bacolod late. This as by about an hour, and we made it for 1345h.
As I got off the boat, I noticed that there were actually other foreigners there, though they had not taken part in the Karaoke fun or indeed seemed to be involved with the meals, so I suspect they had all eaten in the more fancy restaurant.
I met up with Ross and Imelda, and then we put the bag on the back of the truck and covered it with waterproofs, and then joyed the 4 hour journey to Sipalay.
Once we got to the main town, we stopped off at a new snack bar, where Walter and Faith, friends of Ross, were holding an opening party.
We gorged ourselves on lots of Pinoy food: Lumpya cheese sticks, Lechon baboy, Spaghetti, Puto rice cake, Sticky rice, Bihong (noodles etc), and Dinogoan (Pig blood offal)
After that we headed on to Ross's mansion and I was shown to my room, which had en suite bathroom included - very nice!
