I had quite the hangover this morning, and vowed to be much more moderate with the red horse next time - any ordinary beer would have been fine, but in hindsight I do recall Ross having told everyone that Red Horse should be called Red Mule because of the kick in the morning!
I managed to arrange to meet up with Jane and her friend for the afternoon, and met them in the McDonalds near the university.
From there we headed to the Imelda Marcos Shoe Museum, where we got to see a selection of shoes, the most important of which were several hundred pairs of her massive collection!
After this we cheked the nearby cathedral, and then found a food place to try some local delicacies.
I made my own way back to the hostel after we got on the MRT, and this time, after a long consult with the locals at Baclaran, managed to get the correct Jeepney. This meant it took a long time still, but at least I had the right Jeepney for any future commutes!
