After a day or two of making my picture gallery script more efficient and updating my journal I decided I needed to go and do something about my hair, so found my way to a local babershop.
I tried to explain I wanted my hair to be very short, and the guy used scissors to chop a lot off, but when I saw the result I indicated I wanted more taken off, so he got the electric shears.
He still wasn't able to get enough off for my liking but it was the lowest setting the shears were capable of, so I asked to pay, and it had only come to 10RM! Not bad for two trims!
I decided to head to the floating mosuqe with my camera after that to get some shots of that as well as sunset, though it started to rain so I was a bit unsure if I could continue.
I decided to press on however, and hopped on the local bus to get there rather than walking the rest of the way, and spent the rest of the evening there.
The sunset was particularly spectacular, as the sky colours kept changing even after the sun set, so I spent longer there than anticipated, and ended up booking a grab back to the hostel.
I managed to give an accurate description of the place in Malay to the driver, unfortunately it was too good, so he went to the actual entrance of the mosque, and I had to walk along the mosque road to reach him - I discovered at this point that there was a closed gate in the way as well as a wall, that made it such that I couldn't reach the car park area.
I decided that valour was the better part of discretion at this point, and climbed over the wall!
After getting back to the hostel, I sorted through the photos, and went to sleep.
