I woke up early, and since my stuff was still wet, I kept it in a separate bag away from the rest of the rucksack!
I walked to the bus station with the Swedish group, and organised a ticket while they went to look for crocodiles on the river - as they had spotted a sign warning about them!
They returned without success, and we all got on the bus - the driver had advised it was fine to take all my bags on without using the boot, until I explained that there was wet clothes that would stink the bus up if they were on board, so he let me use the boot.
The journey was uneventful, and we arrived at the bus station in good time. I knew that I could get a K3 bus to the bus station near Merdaka Mall, so I waited at the bus stop there for one. The Swedes caught up with me, and as they were heading to a different mall, got on the number 2 bus.
I decided to wait on for the k3, but after another 40 minutes or so, I started to think it wouldn't come.
The next 2 comes along, so I checked with the driver, and established that it did go to the place I was heading to after all, so I got on and enjoyed the ride, much cheaper than a grab!
As I was walking from the bus station to the hostel, I bumped back in to Emin and company, though they were not walking as fast as me, so I went on ahead to the hostel and checked in.
My first task was to take my clothes to the laundry, so that I wasn't stinking up the room with wet clothes, and also I had run out of clean clothes to change in to!
I had a nice chat with the laundry owners, and confirmed I would be back the next day, and then headed to a nearby restaurant.
As I was eating, the heavens opened up and it poured with rain, lasting over an hour, so I waited in the restaurant after eating, until the rain got light enough to walk in. The rain fall was so hard that it set off a car alarm!
On my way back to the hostel, I stopped by the Ting and Ting supermarket and bought some rice and resealable freezer bags to try and sort out my phone, which still had condensation inside the camera lenses.
