I headed to the museum today, as one of the items I had seen in the Fort was photos of some local sculptures that I wanted to see in full.
I made it to the museum and found that a display called 'Orang Sarawk', which means 'Sarawak People' was on, and became educated on the historic culture of the local people, frm their beliefs about the levels of heaven and earth, what happens to the spirits when they pass on, and all of the traditional arts and crafts that were undertaken.
I didn't manage to find the sculptures I had been looking for, and the museum closed at 3.30pm so I made my way to Plaza Merdaka, the big mall nearby.
Here I found a well priced food court, and orderd some Mee Kolo Goreng, which had been recommended by Megat, who I had met at the Open House in Kuala Lumpur a few days earlier.
After eating my fill, I headed back to the riverside, and spent some time exprerimenting using two polarisers on the camera to be able to take longer exposure photos of the Parliament building.
I headed back to the hostel after this and took a nap as it was quite hot, and didn't wake up until after the cultural dances were over at the culture club, so I walked to the city park and the food festival to find dinner instead.
