After presenting the bug I had squished last night as evidence and complaining, I decided to move rooms (as they had offered), since all they did to combat the issue was to change the bed sheets - for something like that though I was sure it wouldn't work!
I met Ishimaru-san who had arrived, and practiced some Japanese with him, while he tried to learn some English from me.
We decided to share a grab to Kwan Yin Tong cave temple, my overall plan had been to visit that one and three nearby ones.
We explored the temple, which was full of a mix between Chinese and Hindu religions, and then started to walk to the other temples.
There was no easy path, so we had to walk along the side of the highway, which I was used to the idea of, but in the heat, Ishimaru was tired of the walking, so just before we reached the other temples, we headed across the road to see if we could get some th-o or kopi. There was a banner on display showing a deal, but it turned out that it was only valid if we bought a meal.
As neither of us wanted to do that, we headed along the shops a bit until we found a convenience store, and got something from the fridge each. We tried find a grab taxi back to the hostel, and eventually managed to get one.
