Today I did the last day of the PADI course. The last few days have been great, lots of theory, and lots of diving in confined water. The last two dives were mostly fun dives but dives which are needed as part of the qualification. We had done all the drills, so we got to enjoy ourselves!
The first dive was the qualifying one which got us to 18m, and it was ended when I reached the agreed air limit of 50bar. The site was very nice, with lots of coral, and we saw many fish including a puffer fish.
The next dive site was Pulau Renggis, which was even nicer coral, though the visibility wasn't quite as good. During this dive, which was only to 11m, we encountered a titan trigger fish which seemed to be garding an area, and Arnaud indicated to us that we should stay away from it. When we surfaced due to current at the end, he told us that other dive parties had had to abandon their dives because of trigger fish chasing them for over 10 minutes!
We got back to the main land and filled out the dive log, then also the paperwork for getting our PADI cards.
