We had another late morning, and checked out of the hostel at close to midday. I was on a bit of a schedule today though due to my appointment at Changi Hospital with the specialist. I was still experiencing a lot of pain in my head without the panadol, but I was not having any problems with fever any more.
We caught the 170 bus back in to Singapore after checking out of the hostel, and stopped off at Woodlands Mall to get some lunch. This was a nice ramen bowl for me, and Raine had some fried chicken rice.
We made it to the hospital a little bit late for the appointment, but as Raine worked there she had managed to call ahead and confirm that it would be OK. Once the doctor saw me he checked my file, and I provided the record of temperatures that I had been keeping as well as details of how I had fared over the past few days since being admitted to A+E in the first place.
New blood work was ordered, though they couldn't determine what was the cause of my headaches. I was advised to keep taking the panadol if the pain was too bad, I had to wait for a bit so that the nurse could take my blood sample for the lab, and then we headed to the MRT station near Changi, and enjoyed a Jollibee this being the Filipino equivalent of KFC, which did chicken rice. Raine's flatmates had requested lots of Jollibee for take away. After that, I made my way to the hostel, and Raine went to her flat.
