I took a train from Jakarta to Bandung today. I was in the executive class, so there was plenty of leg room, and the train journey was fairly uneventful. When I got to the Bandung station, every taxi driver anted me to take a cab, though since I had Grab and knew it would be much cheaper I had to politely decline.
I had to go to the main road to order the grab taxi, as drivers were not allowed to come in to the station car park for pick ups, though that wasn't too much of an issue.
The hostel (Attic B&B) was hard for the driver to find though and he ended up going the wrong way, though I did eventually reach the destination. I was surprised to find that while I had booked a dorm room, which had 7 beds, I was the only guest in the hostel. It seems that Bandung is not very well known for tourism yet!
I headed to Paris Van Java Mall to have a wander and grabbed some Nasi Goreng Pataya, which was presented really well, with the top of the egg cut open very artistically!
