Today did not really involve much more than making my way to the airport, and getting the flight to Singapore.
The things to note were that the snack pie was about the size of a credit card, and the queue for the immigration line at the other end was over 1 hour long, despite the fact that there were over 10 desks open and each person took about 2 minutes to process!
Due to the late hour of arrival (after midnight by the time I got through to the real world outside the airport!), I got a taxi to the hostel.
It seemed like any other city from my first impressions.
When I got to the hostel, I was advised that my room had been upgraded to a capsule bunk. I had only booked for a couple of nights, but had an idea that since it was so much cheaper already than Australia, I would spend a couple of weeks to recover from the hectic last couple of months!
