01/11/2016 Landed in Dubai safely, and went with the flow through connections, catching the train from whichever gate I arrived at, on to Gate A. This whole process took about 30 minutes, and as I reached the gate I decided I might want to get some breakfast, it being 0830h local time.
At this moment, I was unable to find my bank card. This seemed to be my first small adventure, on just the first full day away - work out how to get a replacement bank card sent to wherever I am going to be!
A helpful fellow passenger enquired after noticing my worried expression and suggested ways for the bank to be able to help. I decided that since it was still so long before my next flight I should check in case it had been handed in first.
After reporting it to Emirates help desk, I went for a seat, and realised I hadn't checked my jacket pocket- hey presto, bank card found!
With mind now at ease, I went and bought a Chicken Sausage and Egg McMuffin (the least rip off breakfast item I could find!)
Now for the onwards flight- my first ever 16 hours flight!
